Your menu link

A menu page on your website, a PDF of the menu or your ordering page. If the menu changes, update the page, not the code.

Words on the sign

Words on the sign

The words follow the kind of code until you type your own.

Look Colours

Rounded and dots soften the squares; the three big corner squares stay solid so phones still find the code. Scan it with your phone before you print.

It changes with the kind of code until you type your own. Leave it empty for no line.

Logo in the middle (opt.)

With a logo the code switches to its strongest error correction, and the logo covers less than a fifth of its width. Kept in this browser only; not included in a share link.

PNG for documents, slides and social posts; SVG for a print shop or a design app. Share link sends a link that shows this code, ready to scan: nothing is uploaded, the code travels inside the link.

Print at 100% (“Actual size”), not “Fit to page”. Scan one code from the printed page before you print or cut the rest.

Each of these makes the code and the paper it goes on, ready to print.

A menu QR code that never stops working

Paste the link of your menu, a page on your website, a PDF or your ordering page, and print “Scan for our menu” signs for the tables, the counter and the window. Two per sheet makes a sign that fits a small stand; four per sheet suits the counter.

The code is static: it holds your link itself, with no redirect through another company, so it does not expire and there is no monthly fee. When the menu changes, update the page or the PDF at the same address and the printed codes keep working.

How to make a menu QR sign

  1. Paste your menu link

Use a link that stays the same when the menu changes.

  2. Scan the code

Check that the menu opens and is easy to read on a phone.

  3. Print the signs

Half page for a stand on each table, quarter page for the counter, full page for the window.

If your menu is a PDF, keep the same file name and address when you upload a new version, so the old codes open the new menu. A menu page on your own website is the easiest: change the page, never the code.

Check the menu loads quickly on a phone with a weak signal: a large PDF can be slow.

Keep paper menus too

Not every guest has a phone with them, a working camera or good eyesight for a small screen. Keep a few printed menus for anyone who asks; the menu maker can print one from the same list of dishes.

Where to put the codes

  • On every table, in a stand or a frame.
  • By the door and in the window, for people deciding whether to come in.
  • On the counter and the takeaway bags.
  • On flyers and business cards.

Frequently asked questions

Does a menu QR code expire?

Not this one. It is a static code that holds your link, so it works as long as the link does.

Can I change the menu after printing?

Yes, if the link stays the same: update the page or replace the PDF at the same address.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Add it in the middle of the code under Look; the code switches to its strongest error correction so it still scans.

What size should the sign be?

Half page (2 per sheet) suits a table stand; the code is large enough to scan from a seat. Quarter page works up close at a counter.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no limit on how many signs you print.
